why do my sky blue t-shirts become tie-dye out of the wash?
whenever i wash my sky-blue t-shirts they always end up looking like tie-dye shirts of the pinkish sort, why is that? is something bleeding into the t-shirt? it always ends up with spots of whitish-pink around the collar. i have no problems with shirts of other colors. how can i stop this from happening again? thanks!
Maybe there is something in your washer. Try cleaning it. Run a full wash of hot water with vinegar. Often times different dyes do fade overtime. Make sure not to pour detergent directly on the clothes. It can also be sweat stains. Sweat will discolor any fabric. Sometimes a dry cleaners can remove the stain. Stick to a mild soap like woolite or dreft. wash on hottest setting for fabric. sort colors well. never wash reds with blues. colors with whites. use anti bleed sheets or add 1/2 cup of vinegar to laundry it helps to prevent bleeding.
