What is the standard size of the hole above the fireplace?
I have a 50′ tv and wanted to know if anyone knew the standard size of the already placed hole most homes now have above the fireplace. I need to know if my tv will fit.

There really is no standard size. i would say the most common is only about 36″, or the same size as the framed fireplace opening. Most likely you won’t find one with a standard hole for a 50″ tv.
